What is there to do in Oshawa?

I am going to Oshawa for the day this Saturday, what is there to do there. Is there a nice downtown? What is the main street were all the shops are? Is there a nice waterfront? What is the fastest way to get there from Finch Station, is there a GO bus that leaves from Finch Station or do I have to go to Union station?
