Girl names..........?

What are some girl names that mean something like to ascend or rise.. something like that. I'm writing a story and I need a name for one of my characters. She's four years old. I already have the names Aaliyah (Aliyah), etc. but I'm not sure I like that name? Any other name with a different meaning is fine... But I don't want any names that are too common, but not too strange, either. Maybe short names, too? Around 4-7 letters?
