Is there a way to see how long before I will get my state tax refund check?

I have already received my federal refund via a refund anticipation loan and agreed to have the state check sent in the mail. I was wondering if there is a website where I can track it and see if it has been mailed or when, etc. I know the general time frame was 6-8 weeks, but the tax preparer said it could be months before it is received. I know that the federal can be tracked. The state is Alabama.
